TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TICKET SALES

These Terms and Conditions apply to all events conducted by Kyneton Paranormal (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By purchasing a ticket, attending an event, or participating in any Kyneton Paranormal activity, you (“the Participant”) agree to the following terms in full.

1.1. You acknowledge that Kyneton Paranormal events are conducted in historic properties, low-light environments, and potentially uneven or hazardous areas.
1.2. Participation is entirely at your own risk.
1.3. You are responsible for your own safety at all times and agree to take reasonable care to avoid accidents or injuries.
1.4. You must bring and use a torch when moving through darkened areas.

2.1. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Kyneton Paranormal, its owners, employees, contractors, and venue partners accept no responsibility or liability for:

• Any injury, loss, damage, death, or property damage sustained by any participant, whether caused by accident, negligence, behaviour of other participants, or alleged paranormal activity.
   
• Any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from participation or attendance.
   

2.2. You expressly agree that you will not hold Kyneton Paranormal, its agents, or associated venues legally liable for any injury, loss, damage, or claim whatsoever arising from attendance or participation.

2.3. Kyneton Paranormal’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the price paid for your ticket.

3.1. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kyneton Paranormal, its directors, employees, contractors, and representatives from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or connected with your participation in any event.

3.2. This includes — but is not limited to — claims resulting from:

• Your negligence or failure to follow safety instructions.
   
• Any damage you cause to property or persons.
   
• Any injury sustained during an event, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual in nature.
   

4.1. Participants must act respectfully towards staff, fellow guests, and venues.
4.2. No alcohol, drugs, or intoxication are permitted at any time. Anyone under the influence will be removed without refund.
4.3. Kyneton Paranormal reserves the right to refuse entry or evict any guest behaving inappropriately or endangering others.

5.1. Guests must be 15 years or older, unless pre-approved in writing.
5.2. Due to heritage building conditions, some venues may be unsuitable for mobility-impaired guests. Please check accessibility before booking.
5.3. Heavily pregnant participants are not permitted to attend for safety reasons.
5.4. Guests must disclose any medical conditions that may affect participation.

6.1. Personal photography and short video clips are allowed.
6.2. Any public sharing (social media, websites, YouTube, etc.) requires written approval from Kyneton Paranormal to protect privacy and venue confidentiality.
6.3. All footage or content captured at our events remains the intellectual property of Kyneton Paranormal unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7.1. All bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless an event is cancelled by Kyneton Paranormal.
7.2. If we must cancel or reschedule, you will be offered a refund or credit for another event.
7.3. We are not liable for travel, accommodation, or incidental costs resulting from cancellation or rescheduling.
7.4. Tickets may be transferred privately to another person only with written notification to Kyneton Paranormal.

8.1. Participants understand that paranormal investigations may involve psychological stress, fear, or emotional responses.
8.2. You acknowledge that any perceived paranormal experience is subjective and not guaranteed.
8.3. Kyneton Paranormal makes no guarantees of spiritual contact, activity, or outcomes.

9.1. Personal data collected (name, contact details, etc.) will only be used for event communication and administration.
9.2. We do not share or sell personal data to third parties.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Victoria.

By attending a Kyneton Paranormal event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the waiver of legal rights and release of liability.
You understand that participation involves inherent risk, and you agree not to hold Kyneton Paranormal or its representatives responsible for any outcome arising from your attendance.

• No guarantees of paranormal activity.
   
• We’re not liable if ghosts, gravity, or bad decisions intervene.
