This iconic National Trust building was constructed in 1856 as the Bank of New South Wales and served as a residence for bank managers and their families. It is believed that his family still linger in spirit, guarding their gold along with other spirits. The building is now a museum, and visitors have the opportunity to explore the entire site.

Gothic style Mansion built in 1877 to house the first bishop of Ballarat, Bishop Michael O'Çonnor, for the Diocese of Ballarat and subsequent Bishops up until 1996 when it was taken over privately. Bring your bible and see if we can rouse the heavy energies that dominate various rooms.

In the tradition of Sam and Colby, but hosted by Dolly and Asha from Kyneton Paranormal, this unforgettable ghost tour and investigation invites you inside the historic Marlborough Town Hall, built in the late 1800s. With over a century of history and mystery, it’s the perfect setting for a real ghost hunt.

Join our team for a guided exploration using professional ghost-hunting equipment—including EMF meters, spirit boxes, REM pods, and motion sensors—to explore the hall after dark. Learn the techniques used by experienced investigators and discover the stories, secrets, and spirits said to linger within the building. Whether you’re a curious first-timer or a seasoned ghost hunter, this immersive experience will leave you questioning what’s really out there.

🚫 No alcohol or drugs permitted

While not entirely abandoned, this 1930s hospital has been de-registered and is now a workspace for various businesses in the Castlemaine area. It operated until around 2000 before being decommissioned. The long hallways still feature surgery and patient rooms, and there are three levels to explore.

We have access to the entrance, hallways, cellar, and several rooms, though not all areas of the building are open. We know that both residual and intelligent spirits are present. So far, we have encountered a nurse, an anesthetist, a security guard, a patient, and a kitchen worker, along with spirits named Stephanie, James, Crystal, and Deborah. Join us by sitting quietly and listening for knocks, moving doors, cries, voices, and footsteps!

You will have access to paranormal investigation equipment. With a small group size, you can truly appreciate the creaks and groans of this eerie place.

Kyneton Paranormal invites you to join their team of investigators for a night of ghost stories, paranormal experiments, and spine-tingling exploration.

Throughout the evening, you’ll hear chilling tales of the hotel’s haunted history—spirits at the bar who never left, the original owners who still watch over their beloved hotel, children spotted on the stairs, and strange happenings in the upstairs rooms.

Guests will be provided with professional ghost-hunting equipment, including EMF meters and spirit boxes, and will be guided through group experiments designed to connect with the other side. As the night deepens, you'll be left to explore the lonely corridors, shadowed stairwells, and spooky rooms at your own pace. Come with an open mind, a sense of adventure, and prepare for the possibility of the unexplained.

Learn how to use ghost-detecting equipment, such as spirit boxes, K2 meters, dowsing rods, laser pens, and static detectors, and participate in a couple of experiments. Then, communicate with the paranormal, guided by the enthusiastic Dolly. We think we have a stage spirit who loves it when we sing, Steve, Tom, and Bob around what was the old library, and Ned and Michael out the back, who are obsessed with the number 4.

Paranormal investigation at this historic venue, built in 1866 in 3 Piper Street, Kyneton. Typically used for meetings of the Masonic brothers, they have opened their doors for us to explore this fascinating building, with the main hall decorated in an Egyptian theme, featuring four large canvases that create a superb interior.
